​Barcelona have identified Héctor Bellerín as their main target this summer, after failing to find a replacement for Dani Alves, via the Daily Star.

The move could see the Spanish full-back return to Spain with Arsenal set to gain Arda Turan, André Gomes and Ivan Rakitić should the deal be agreed. Barcelona have been linked with the right-back previously with nothing ever materialising, however this summer could see the 22-year-old finally make his move.

The Catalan giants have failed to fill the void vacated by Dani Alves since his move to Juventus last summer and with Sergi Roberto only a temporary fix for Barca, Bellerín is the ideal choice to live up to the Brazilian's legacy.

The swap deal could be a huge swing in the right direction for Arsenal, as Mesut Özil, Granit Xhaka and Theo Walcott have all underperformed this season and could be pushed aside, to make room for the trio of Barcelona players. 

Bellerín has been a key player for Arsene Wenger, making 36 appearances for the Gunners this season, he has become a prominent figure in the starting eleven. His lightning quick pace is a huge asset for the right-back, a trait that all Barcelona's full-backs have had throughout the years.

The Gunners' disappointing campaign may be topped off by one of their crucial players moving to pastures new come the end of the season. 

Whether it's Wenger or a new manager in charge at the Emirates next season, one things for sure, drastic changes are needed for the new season.
