With a league title to celebrate and retiring veterans to wave off, Bayern Munich turned their final Bundesliga game of the season into one giant party.

Sure enough, the beer immediately began to flow after the final whistle, with the Bayern players and staff once again seizing the opportunity to slosh giant tankards of lager all over one another.

As was inevitable, several civilians also managed to get caught up in the melee, with Arjen Robben making sure that Sky Sports reporter Britta Hofmann didn't escape without a soaking.

"Quite mean, Arjen Robben!" said Bayern via their official Twitter account while captioning a photo of the incident.

Thankfully, Hofmann wasn't overly phased at being drenched in public and took Robben's little prank in good humour.

Replying to Bayern's tweet, Hofmann quipped: "Philipp Lahm had just wished me good luck shortly before!"

That was presumably before she realised how expensive it's going to be to have the stale lager professionally steamed out of her suit.
