PHOTO: Danish Star Responds Brilliantly to Surprise Inclusion on Lionel Messi's Famous Shirt Wall
Lionel Messi came close to breaking the internet when he posted an Instagram photo of himself and his son at home surrounded by a room full of football shirts that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has collected throughout his glittering career.
There were plenty of admirable names visible for the world of top level football. Names such as Luis Suarez, Yaya Toure, Raul, Francesco Totti, Sergio Aguero and Cesc Fabregas just to name a few.
However, there were also some more surprising shirts on display, with one of them being current FC Copenhagen and former Ajax left-back Nicolai Boilesen (bottom left, third row).
Although Boilesen won four Eredivisie titles during his time at Ajax, the Denmark international isn't exactly a renowned name beyond Dutch and Scandinavian football, so his inclusion in Messi's shirt hall of fame is a little surprising.
Acknowledging his inclusion, Boilesen has now also taken to Instagram to respond to his inclusion in Messi's photo.
The defender wrote in the caption that accompanied his image that he feels "forced" to put up the shirt he got in return from the Barcelona superstar on his own wall, whilst noting he doesn't have quite as fancy a floor as the Argentina captain.
